PLAYER BIO:

My name is Payton LaFever, and this is my first year with DistinXion. I chose DistinXion because I want to become a better basketball player and push myself beyond what I believe I’m capable of. I love that it has pushed me to become a better basketball player. It has also helped me to realize my faith can be a part of basketball in many ways. My ultimate goal on the court is to give 100% while I’m on the floor and to push my teammates to be the best they can be too. Off the court, it is important to me to continue making good grades in school. After high school, I would love to become a pediatric dermatologist. I love kids. I want to be a great role model and someone for kids to look up to, on and off the court. My dream job would a pediatric dermatologist. In my free time, I like to stay busy and do anything active. Some things I do in my free time would be staying with friends, riding my bike, spending time with my family, shopping, skiing, or playing basketball. A fun fact about myself is that I love drama and doing plays!
