Our Mission:

The DistinXion C.H.A.M.P.I.O.N.S. Program is designed to be a player development program that prepares players for their next steps in basketball and in life. For those looking to play college basketball, or those looking to maximize their high school careers and then go to college as a student, this program will teach you skills on and off the court even beyond basketball. We want 100% of our program participants to be successful, no matter their goal(s).

Training Camps

Our program doesn't just practice. We have Training Camps. These are immersive basketball workouts that are designed to challenge and encourage players in their basketball, character, and leadership development. Here at DistinXion, we believe the summer is when players should not just PROVE, but IMPROVE.

Training Camp style will vary depending on grade level, however we give players a full day/practice of development. This includes both classroom sessions & court sessions along with a Chapel. For more information on Training Camps, please see our Player Development page.

Tournaments

On top of Training Camps, DistinXion C.H.A.M.P.I.O.N.S. Teams will participate in 6 tournaments throughout the spring and summer. While exposure will become an area of focus for our players (primarily upperclassmen athletes) and our coaching staff at tournaments, DistinXion's top priority will remain player development. The DistinXion coaching staff aims to use tournaments as an opportunity to compete at a high level, and further provide development opportunities for all players and teams.

All tournaments will be in the near Midwest region and within driving distance - Indianapolis, Bloomington, Louisville, Cincinnati, etc.

The Commitment

The DistinXion C.H.A.M.P.I.O.N.S. Program will begin with our first Training Camp in early to mid-February for our upperclassmen Women’s teams and mid-March for our other teams and run through the end of July.  Players are given the entire month of June off to focus on their respective HS programs. DistinXion will have events all weekends in March, April, May, and July. For a tentative 2024 program schedule, please visit our Schedule Pages under “Men’s” or “Women’s.”

Players are expected to attend at least 75% of Training Camps, and 75% of Tournaments. We know this time of year can get busy with vacations, spring sports, etc., so though this is our standard, we are willing to be flexible with families as long as absences are communicated in advance. As an organization, we are fully supportive of multi-sport athletes, however, we want our athletes to be committed to their DistinXion team as well.
