HIGH SCHOOL: Monrovia
HS GRADUATION CLASS: 2021
My name is Joe Williams and I this will be my 2nd year with the DistinXion CHAMPIONS Program. I chose DistinXion because it seemed like a good opportunity for me to increase my basketball skill and knowledge. It’s also helped me grow as a person, along with allowing me to meet a lot of great new people. My basketball goals include becoming the best leader I can be for my teammates, winning a sectional and regional title with my high school team, and ultimately be able to receive a college basketball scholarship. Outside of basketball, my dreams and aspirations include earning a 4.0 GPA in high school, becoming a member of the National Honor Society, volunteering for Habitat for Humanity once I turn 16, and becoming a varsity starter for Football. After high school I hope to attend college and play basketball, but am currently unsure of what I’d like to study. My dream job though would be to play in the NBA. Outside of basketball I enjoy playing football, playing Xbox, playing ping pong, doing magic tricks, playing with legos, and hanging out with my older brother. Some fun facts about me: I'm left handed, and I have over 10 different nicknames for my dad; including Cudi, Bexton, JZ, Louie, T-Dub, Roy, and Macoocha.
