PLAYER BIO:
My name is Jacqueline Mosqueda, and this is my first year with DistinXion. I chose DistinXion because I am a very determined basketball player who wants to be in a reliable program that can teach me and help me progress as a player and a person. I love how everyone is so kind and funny, you don’t get left out, and you improve every time you go. My ultimate goal on the court is to create as many opportunities for me and my teammates to score. Being competitive is in my nature and so is team work. Off the court, my goals are to maintain my good grades, keep volunteering for my community, and try to be a leader and role model that younger generations can look up to. After high school, I want to get accepted into a medical school and pursue my medical career in being a pediatrician. Of course, I would enjoy playing basketball in college as well. My dream job is being a pediatrician because I love helping children and enjoy learning about developmental stages. In my free time, I like to spend time with friends, go on walks with my dog, and play soccer. Some fun facts about myself are that Spanish is my first language, I love to read, I’ve been playing soccer since I was 3, and I’m a social butterfly.
“But the Lord stood with me and gave me strength.” 2 Timothy 4:17
