Chad Smith

Development Coach

Chad has been coaching for DistinXion for 4 years. He chose DistinXion because, “I coach because I love watching player and character development of young people. We have great kids in our program and they continue to impress me with their attitude and effort each year. “

He has a number of years of Varsity coaching experience for the Owen Valley Boy's Basketball Program as well as Cross Country, Track, and the Fishing team. When Chad isn’t at DistinXion practices and tournaments, he either cheering on his daughter, Lily, who runs XC and Track for Hanover College, or on the water fishing.
