My name is Derek Farkas and I chose DistinXion because I felt it would be a good opportunity for me to grow as a player and play with some teammates from Edgewood. My goals for my basketball career are to start Varsity and to one day play in college. Academically, I hope to graduate high school with a 3.4 or higher. In college, I would love to study engineering because I have seen how much my cousin enjoys it. My dream is to play in the NBA one day. Outside of basketball, I really enjoy playing video games, swimming, and hanging out with my friends.
